Our Story

OrrVilla began in 1977 as a retirement community designed to help senior adults enjoy maintenance-free living. Its services are a continuation of the ministry of the Mennonite Home for the Aged, which has since closed. Shaped by its Mennonite roots, OrrVilla continues to provide assistance to residences of all faith backgrounds through programs and services that feed the mind, body, and soul.

Treating our residents like family

Grandparents with grandchild

Our exceptional staff are trained to care for senior adults as they age in place on the OrrVilla campus, conveniently located next to Aultman Orrville Hospital and physician’s offices. Whether living independently in a villa, or receiving additional care in our assisted living community, residents have the peace of mind that once in the safety of the OrrVilla campus, their physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs will be met. Whether you need daily or weekly assistance due to aging, illness, recovery, or rehabilitation, our care givers will provide an individualized service that you can trust.

At OrrVilla, caring for the aging mind is just as important as caring for the body. We offer all of our residents a variety of activities that include educational programs, concerts, exercise classes, Bible Studies and outings to local restaurants and more.
